The Valley of Las Leñas is the most important winter resort in South America.
It is only 75 km from Malargüe airport, and 445 km south of the city of Mendoza. Due to its geographical location, this international tourist resort offers an exclusively long season from June to October inclusive. It has Illuminated slopes, artificial snow factory, ski and snowboard school, snow garden and nursery, shopping center, rooms for conventions and shows, restaurants at the base and slopes, gyms, sauna, casino, security.


The Valley has the longest off-piste free ski crossing in South America (16 km), an entire-track snowpark, and one of the longest uninterrupted descents on intermediate slopes in the world (7 km).
It is the best place for beginners and intermediate skiers. Las Leñas has 230 hectares that are divided among 30 slopes that have accessed through 14 ski lifts (including a ski carpet for beginners).
Those who have just starting skiing will enjoy an uninterrupted descent of 1,000 meters long with a slight slope.
Those more experienced in this matter , will have the possibility of skiing at night, with 2 km of illuminated slopes. The Valley of Las Leñas is the only Ski Resort in South America that has night skiing.
